Timor-Leste: Universal old-age and disability pensions
Summary
Timor-Leste provides social pensions to all citizens above 60 years old, and to people with disabilities above 18. From its creation in 2008, the programme reached quickly a large share of the target group, and still is the only old-age pension availiable to most of the population, providing almost 95,000 individuals with US$ 30 per month.
