In an effort to expand coverage and improve the quality of its services, Indonesia’s national social health insurance scheme (Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional, JKN) launched a mobile application. The app improves accessibility for participants while reducing administrative workload. Mobile JKN allows people to register, view billing information, pay monthly contributions, select or change the primary healthcare provider, and file complaints, all from their cellular devices.
