Financing Social Protection

The booth will present the overall approach and evidence-based support provided to countries for financing their social protection, from assessing a baseline, costing the gaps, to estimating available fiscal space and financing options, measuring the impact of these changes and building the capacity of countries to find synergies between Social Protection and Public Financial Management.

The afternoon session will present first hand the experience from Paraguay!

The session will have a short 5-10min introduction followed by a Q&A. The introduction will be presented twice (11h and 11h30) to allow participants to switch between booths if they wish so.
