  • Sindh Employees Social Security Institution (SESSI) improved and upgraded its management and governance system for the effective delivery of social security benefits to the victims of workplace injuries.

  • The design for the first ever One-Window-Operation for Social Protection in Pakistan was developed in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (KP) Province. During 201617 the One-Window-Operation for Social Protection was piloted in two districts.

  • The Government of Sindh province, after consultation with the social partners and other stakeholders, endorsed a modality for distribution of additional employment injury benefits to the victims of the Ali Enterprise factory fire of 2012, named the Baldia Arrangement was reached in September 2016.
