Outcomes

  • By 2023 constituents developed and tested schemes for extension of maternity protection to workers in informal economy and unemployment schemes for the inclusion of selected groups of workers in informal economy with contributory capacity
  • By 2023 integrated employment and social protection services and compliance mechanisms developed to facilitate the transition to formality and prevent informalization of formal jobs, in line with R204 improved
  • By 2023 constituents developed schemes for the extension of maternity protection to workers in informal economy
  • By 2022 gender-responsive diagnosis assessing the incidence, forms and drivers of informality of workers in informal employment engaged in formal enterprises is carried out in consultation with social partners, validated and adopted by the Government
  • By 2022 capacity of constituents to formulate and implement social protection policies inclusive of informal workers and promoting gender equality developed
