Description

The project seeks to support and leverage south-south cooperation in a sustainable manner through the strenghtening of the regional platform CONNECT established in the first phase of the ILO-Luxembourg project „Support to extension of social health protection in South East Asia“.  Active collaborations of CONNECT members through the development of joint knowledge, capacity building and awareness products, are creating unique opportunities for exchanges of knowledge and information across key national institutions working on social health protection in the region. These exchanges are reinforcing national systems, in informing policy options and implementation practices improving social health protection coverage.

The project seeks to support the development of the network, supporting its institutional development, extension of membership and development of concrete collaborations through the development of joint products.

Under this outcome, the project also provides on-demand support to countries in the region, in support to Social Protection team in countries.
